"Maintaining personal contact with my associates is right up my alley."
Tamara Boeff | Account Manager
Fanatical and athletic Tamara Boeff had just been working at HeadFirst Group for two weeks when the office doors had to close and we started working remotely. A crazy period for everyone, but that didn't stop Tamara from grabbing the opportunities that came her way with both hands: "I started as a service advisor for the HeadFirst label. In this role, I informed independent professionals and suppliers of professionals about the Professionals & Partners services. In early 2021, in the role of field and relationship manager, I was asked to also introduce these services to our label Staffing MS. A big job, but that gave me energy." That Tamara is constantly developing, she proves once again. Indeed, in August 2022 she made another new step: this time to Account Manager. "I didn't have to think twice about this offer, I immediately felt that this role would suit me perfectly."
Winner's mentality
Whereas Tamara used to interact mainly with self-employed professionals and suppliers, she now has conversations primarily with clients. "I focus on clients like the school community - including Utrecht University - and the central government aimed at hiring HR professionals. Because of the many personal contacts, I am very involved with my clients," Tamara says. As Account Manager, she can combine her experience and skills from her previous roles. "I have especially learned to dare to take initiative. In addition, I know that a healthy winner's mentality comes in handy." She shares this winner's mentality with her new team members. "Our interests match and we regularly play sports together in the office gym to blow off steam," Tamara continues.
"The atmosphere in the organization and my team is very good. Everyone is always open to ideas and feedback. This makes everyone feel connected to each other."
Connection is key
Which core value of HeadFirst Group fits Tamara best? She doesn't have to think long about that: 'Connecting people'. "This core value stands for positivity, connection and respect. I have a lot of contact with different people and it is important that I maintain these relationships well. In addition, it applies to both my job, and my personality that I like to connect with people. The fact that the organization also considers this value important makes it so much fun for me," Tamara said. "The new headquarters also definitely contributes to the connection between colleagues. I enjoy working at this location and getting to know all my colleagues even better."
