Your commercial mission 

As Business Development Manager , you are responsible for generating new revenue. You determine where opportunities lie, which organizations have potential, and how to bring them on board. 

You actively approach prospects, schedule appointments, and conduct conversations at the decision-maker level. You do this your way; we provide you with the tools. You don't sell individual services, but rather strategic solutions for complex recruitment issues. You negotiate sharply, focus on results, and conclude clear contracts. 

What you actually do 

  • Actively approaching and acquiring new (mid-market) customers 

  • Building a strong commercial pipeline 

  • Conducting sales and progress meetings with customers 

  • Expanding existing customers with additional HR tech services 

  • Identifying commercial opportunities and market developments 

  • Contributing ideas about the positioning of RPO and new partnerships 

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and liaise daily with colleagues from RPO and Recruitment & Selection to convert commercial opportunities into results. Within the commercial team, you will work together to achieve the target and coordinate with multiple departments to arrive at the most suitable proposition. In doing so, you will always look ahead: how can we help our customers even better?

Salary that matches your experience
You will receive a salary range that matches your knowledge and experience. We reward you fairly for your commitment and development.
Vacation pay and days off
You will receive 8.33% vacation pay and are entitled to 27 vacation days per year based on full-time employment. This gives you plenty of time to recharge your batteries.
Hybrid working
We support hybrid working and apply a 60/40 split, whereby full-time employees spend three days at the office and two days working from home.
Premium-freepension
We pay your entire pension premium. This means you accrue pension without having to contribute to it yourself. As a result, you are left with a higher net salary.
Performancebonus
Depending on your performance and that of HeadFirst Group, you may receive an annual bonus of one or two months' salary.
Monthly extras
You will receive a monthly allowance for internet, a vitality budget, a contribution towards lunch, and support in setting up your home office.

What we expect from you

You are a commercial professional who understands how recruitment and related HR solutions work. Think of MSP, RPO, TTM, SOW, and brokering. You know how decision-making works within organizations and dare to ask questions. Resistance does not deter you. You keep the end goal firmly in mind. 

  • At least 3 years of commercial experience in HR, recruitment, or employment services 

  • Bachelor's degree in a commercial field or business administration 

  • Targets give you focus; you enjoy building pipelines. 

  • Data-driven working with CRM (Hubspot) and pipeline management

  • Available 32 to 40 hours per week.
