As a Senior Business Controller at HeadFirst Group, you will serve as the financial sparring partner for the Managing Director of your business line. You help drive the organization forward by closely analyzing results, improving management information, and providing financial justification for strategic decisions. In this role, the focus is on bridging the gap between finance and business. You translate financial results into insights, scenarios, and concrete recommendations for the management team. In doing so, you play a key role in achieving sustainable growth and further professionalizing the organization.

Your impact at HeadFirst Group

As a Senior Business Controller, you will have a direct impact on the strategic development of HeadFirst Group. You will ensure that management has access to clear performance metrics and well-founded insights to make the right decisions.

You look beyond the numbers. By linking financial results to operational KPIs, market trends, and strategic goals, you help the business capitalize on opportunities and identify risks in a timely manner. With your analytical skills and persuasive abilities, you serve as a strong partner to the Managing Director and the management team. You actively contribute to strategic projects, process optimization, and further strengthening the organization’s financial management.

What will you do?

• Preparing, analyzing, and refining financial and operational reports;

• Translating financial results into strategic insights and recommendations for the Managing Director and the management team;

• Developing and optimizing KPI frameworks and management information;

• Preparing forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decision-making;

• Identifying opportunities for improving processes, performance, and financial management;

• Actively contribute to strategic projects and organization-wide improvement initiatives;

• Collaborate with other business controllers and colleagues in operations, IT, sales, and finance;

• Challenging and advising stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
