Your Mission
As the Senior Product Manager for Activation & Localization, your mission is to ensure that professionals, suppliers, and clients across the globe can successfully onboard, activate, and adopt Striive regardless of market, language, or maturity.
You will own the product experience that turns first-time users into engaged, recurring users. That means removing friction in onboarding, enabling local relevance for international markets, and ensuring Striive feels intuitive, trustworthy, and valuable from day one.
You will start by supporting the rollout and adoption in the US, UK, and APAC, while continuously improving activation and localization flows for our Dutch market. Your work will be critical to making Striive scalable, usable, and successful as a truly global platform.
Ultimately, your goal is to build activation and localization capabilities that accelerate growth, reduce drop-off, and empower our international expansion, making Striive a platform where users don't just access, but use and rely on.

How We Work
You’ll join one of our six cross-functional product teams. Each team has a clear mission, a dedicated Product Designer, Tech Lead, and Engineers, and the autonomy to solve problems in the best way they see fit.
We practice continuous discovery and delivery, working in close collaboration with our users and stakeholders. You’ll have frequent contact with your key users, from newly onboarded professionals to international business stakeholders, giving you the context you need to make high-impact decisions.
We adopt AI and figure out how to completely augment our SDLC with AI, for product, design, and engineering. So we can take on more ambitious and fun projects, without causing a 'Slopocalypse'.
The Activation & Localization team is essential to our international growth strategy. Your vision will ensure that Striive works globally, feels local, and drives meaningful engagement in every market we enter.
Your Responsibilities
As the product leader for your team, you will:
Own the Outcome
Take full ownership of activation, adoption, and localization outcomes. You’re responsible for the “why” and the “what,” while your team collaborates on the “how.”
Lead Continuous Discovery
Deeply understand why users struggle to activate or adopt. Lead interviews, usability tests, experiments, and data analysis to uncover friction, opportunities, and unmet needs.
Shape the Strategy
Define and communicate an outcome-oriented product strategy focused on activation, onboarding, and international scalability. You align teams and stakeholders around impact, not output.
Drive Delivery & Iteration
Guide your team through the full product lifecycle — from validating assumptions to releasing improvements and iterating based on data and user behavior.
Champion Your Product
Be the voice of activation and localization within the organization. Share insights, demo progress, and ensure your product area delivers measurable impacts on growth and adoption.
We’re Looking for a Combination of Craft, Mindset, and Experience
, you’ll likely have:
Proven Product Experience
5+ years as a Product Manager leading an empowered, cross-functional product team in an agile environment.
Mastery of Product Discovery
You have a strong discovery toolkit and know when and how to apply different techniques. Experience with modern ideation or prototyping tools like V0, Replit, Lovable, etc., are a plus.
Growth & User-Centric Mindset
A deep curiosity for user behavior, onboarding, and engagement and how product decisions impact adoption at scale. Experience with marketplaces, platforms, or international products is a strong advantage.
Technical & Design Fluency
You’re comfortable discussing feasibility with engineers and user experience with designers.
AI Curiosity and proven experimentation record you are willing to or already running your day from Claude Code or rebuild entire products in a weekend.
Data Savvy
You use qualitative and quantitative data to identify friction, prioritize opportunities, and measure success. (SQL knowledge is a plus.)
Exceptional Communicator & Influencer
You can clearly articulate insights, influence stakeholders, and inspire teams around a shared vision.
Entrepreneurial Mindset
You’re proactive, autonomous, and comfortable operating in a scaling, fast-changing environment. Experience working in a scale-up is a big plus.
Domain knowledge of HR tech is a plus but not required.
Living and working in the Netherlands
. You must be resident in the Netherlands, in or near Hoofddorp. We work hybrid and welcome you regularly at our office.
