Make an impact in a growing organization

Does combining robust financial reporting and control with analysis and forward-looking insights energize you? And do you enjoy working in a close-knit environment where Finance directly supports decision-making? If so, this role at ProUnity in Brussels could be the next step in your finance career.

At ProUnity, you work in a small and growing organization where responsibilities come together. You contribute to a strong financial foundation while also looking ahead. You support management with insights, help further structure Finance & Administration, and play an active role in improving financial steering and business performance.

Your impact at ProUnity

As a Financial & Business Controller, you are responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial reporting while strengthening business controls. You translate financial data into insights that actively support decision-making.

You work closely with Finance, Operations, and Management and serve as a sounding board on financial and business matters. You ensure that month-end closing and reporting processes are well organized and that figures are accurate and clearly understood. In addition, you analyze trends, prepare forecasts and scenarios, and translate numbers into concrete insights, risks, and improvement actions.

Within Finance, you’ll work alongside accounts receivable and accounts payable colleagues who handle day-to-day operations. This allows you to focus on financial oversight, reporting, analysis, and control rather than transactional processes. The role is suited to a smaller organizational setting where you’ll be involved in a wide range of activities and can truly make an impact with a hands-on approach.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate and monitor aspects of the month-end close and financial reporting;

  • Ensure the quality, completeness, and consistency of financial data;

  • Strengthen financial controls and further develop business controls;

  • Improve finance and administration processes from a control and reporting perspective;

  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports;

  • Perform analyses, forecasts, and scenario modeling;

  • Translate figures into insights, risks, and concrete improvement actions;

  • Contribute to further standardization and professionalization within the organization;

  • Work closely with AR/AP colleagues without being responsible for day-to-day operations.
