Make an impact on the energy transition as an Interim MSP IT Consultant at HeadFirst Group

As an Interim MSP IT Consultant at HeadFirst Group, you’ll play a key role within one of our largest client environments in the energy sector: Alliander. In this temporary assignment, you will ensure that IT projects—ranging from software development to data and cloud—always have access to the right external specialists.

You’ll join the team at a time when it needs reinforcement and, from day one, ensure continuity, clarity, and results. Thanks to your experience with IT recruitment and MSP processes, you’ll be up and running quickly and make an immediate impact.

Practical Information

  • Start: as soon as possible;

  • Duration: at least 3 months, with the possibility of extension;

  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week;

  • Location: hybrid, partly on-site at Alliander;

  • Contract type: self-employed (freelance) assignment.

Your impact at HeadFirst Group

As an Interim MSP IT Consultant, you are responsible for maintaining and improving the hiring process within a dynamic IT environment. You address ongoing requests immediately, introduce structure where necessary, and ensure that deadlines are met.

You interact daily with hiring managers, vendors, and independent professionals, and are able to quickly grasp the situation at hand. Thanks to your knowledge of IT profiles, you immediately understand job requests and translate them into concrete, suitable matches. At the same time, you work on multiple requests and maintain a clear overview, even when the pressure mounts. You keep a close eye on deadlines, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and ensure the process continues to run smoothly.

In addition, you’ll help maintain stability within the team. You’ll take ownership, provide support where needed, and ensure that work continues as the team is built up.

What will you do?

  • Manage ongoing and new IT requests within the client environment;

  • Promptly address requests and ensure prompt, thorough follow-up;

  • Actively searching for, screening, and evaluating IT professionals;

  • Advising hiring managers on available candidates and market dynamics;

  • Introducing suitable candidates within tight deadlines;

  • Working closely with suppliers and independent IT professionals;

  • Monitoring progress, speed, and quality for ongoing applications;

  • The ability to adapt quickly and set priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;

  • Contribute to stability and continuity within the MSP team.

This is what you get from us

Vacation pay and days off
You will receive 8.33% vacation pay and are entitled to 27 vacation days per year based on full-time employment. This gives you plenty of time to recharge your batteries.
Hybrid working
We support hybrid working and apply a 60/40 split, whereby full-time employees spend three days at the office and two days working from home.
Premium-freepension
We pay your entire pension premium. This means you accrue pension without having to contribute to it yourself. As a result, you are left with a higher net salary.
Performancebonus
Depending on your performance and that of HeadFirst Group, you may receive an annual bonus of one or two months' salary.
Monthly extras
You will receive a monthly allowance for internet, a vitality budget, a contribution towards lunch, and support in setting up your home office.

What we expect from you

You are an experienced professional in MSP or IT recruitment and feel at home in an environment where speed, independence, and results are key. You require minimal training and are able to take on responsibilities right away.

In addition, you will bring the following:

  • HBO working and thinking level;

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in MSP, temporary staffing, or IT recruitment;

  • Proven experience with IT roles such as developers, data specialists, or cloud specialists;

  • Experience as an MSP Consultant, Recruiter, Staffing Consultant, or Broker Consultant;

  • Able to quickly work independently in a new environment;

  • Strong in stakeholder management and communication;

  • Results-oriented, able to handle stress, and accustomed to working under deadlines;

  • Proficiency in Dutch and English;

  • Resident in the Netherlands (relocation not possible).
