As a Senior MSP Consultant at HeadFirst Group, you’ll play a key role within one of our largest client environments in the energy sector: Alliander. In this environment, you’ll directly contribute to the energy transition in the Netherlands by ensuring that critical projects have access to the right external specialists.

You serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that the entire hiring process is organized in an efficient, transparent, and future-proof manner. Drawing on your experience, you bring structure to complex hiring challenges and drive continuous improvements in processes, collaboration, and results.

Your impact at HeadFirst Group

As a Senior MSP Consultant, you are responsible for ensuring that the external staffing process runs smoothly within a complex client environment. You are not only responsible for the process, but also serve as an advisor and coordinator for the entire ecosystem surrounding external professionals.

You operate in an environment with many stakeholders and competing interests, where you make a difference both tactically and strategically. Thanks to your experience with MSP services and supplier management, you know how to balance quality, speed, and market dynamics.

In addition, you will play a key role in further professionalizing the collaboration between the client, suppliers, and the MSP team. You will identify opportunities for process optimization, initiate improvements, and actively contribute to the development of the MSP model within the client organization.

Within the team, you will serve as an experienced mentor for your colleagues and help further develop knowledge, structure, and best practices.

What will you do?

  • Manage the entire process of hiring external professionals within a complex client environment;

  • Advising hiring managers and stakeholders on the use of external talent, market trends, and hiring strategies;

  • Managing applications through the MSP platform and overseeing the selection, evaluation, and placement of professionals;

  • Negotiating rates, contract terms, and cooperation agreements with suppliers and independent contractors;

  • Actively managing supplier relationships and ensuring a healthy and competitive supplier landscape;

  • Monitoring progress, quality, and compliance in ongoing recruitment processes;

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and initiating optimizations within the MSP process;

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Procurement, IT, and Operations to further professionalize processes;

  • Serve as a senior mentor within the MSP team and contribute to knowledge sharing and the professional development of colleagues.

Here's what we offer you

Salary that matches your experience
You will receive a salary range that matches your knowledge and experience. We reward you fairly for your commitment and development.
Vacation pay and days off
You will receive 8.33% vacation pay and are entitled to 27 vacation days per year based on full-time employment. This gives you plenty of time to recharge your batteries.
Hybrid working
We support hybrid working and apply a 60/40 split, whereby full-time employees spend three days at the office and two days working from home.
Premium-freepension
We pay your entire pension premium. This means you accrue pension without having to contribute to it yourself. As a result, you are left with a higher net salary.
Performancebonus
Depending on your performance and that of HeadFirst Group, you may receive an annual bonus of one or two months' salary.
Monthly extras
You will receive a monthly allowance for internet, a vitality budget, a contribution towards lunch, and support in setting up your home office.

What we expect from you

You are an experienced professional in the field of external staffing and MSP services, and you thrive in an environment with many stakeholders, competing interests, and constant change. You combine analytical insight with strong communication skills and are able to organize complex processes in a clear and effective manner.

In addition, you will bring the following:

  • HBO working and thinking level;

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in MSP services, external staffing, or supplier management;

  • Experience as an MSP Consultant, Staffing Consultant, In-House Recruiter, Recruitment Consultant, or Broker Consultant;

  • Experience with complex stakeholder environments, preferably within corporate organizations, utility companies, or (semi)governmental entities;

  • Strong stakeholder management at tactical and strategic levels;

  • Experience with supplier management and negotiations with suppliers and independent contractors;

  • An affinity for IT roles or technical talent pools is a plus;

  • Excellent command of Dutch and a good command of English. In addition, you must reside in the Netherlands (relocation is not an option).
